Describe the 20th century problems eliminated by Result-performance Management (R-pM)
Result-performance Management Limited developed Result-performance Management (R-pM), to eliminate unsolvable 20th century problems by organizing the business for 21st century management.
Result-performance Management Limited operates Business Change Forum to discuss unsolvable 20th century problems and introduce the R-pM alternative. Result-performance-management.com supports R-pM application and utilization, with information and downloads. R-pM.net is the host of 21st Century Management magazine, which publishes articles on using R-pM for 21st Century Management.
The enterprise business is defined as the activity of providing goods and services. However, enterprises organize units and positions and overlay an enterprise organization structure on the business, creating the reorganization problem. Since the business is not organized, enterprises must overlay enterprise management structures for strategy, processes, accounts, systems, performance management, etc. creating other unsolvable 20th century problems due to the alignment conflicts between the ever-changing business and rigid overlaid structures.
R-pM organizes business activity as performance solutions and business goods and services as results, to make the business itself one integrated structure for enterprise organization and management. R-pM organizes and manages the business through the only two entities that define the business:
- Results: The outputs produced by business activity like products and profits
- Performance Solutions: The capital utilized in business activity like employees and assets
In addition, R-pM manages time periods, suppliers and solution providers, and customers. This is it! Any enterprise in the world can organize and manage the business with R-pM, to replace 20th century structures with one integrated business structure.
Counter conventional thinking: the barrier to beneficial business change
R-pM requires that people adopt a new way of thinking and unlearn many things that that they have been taught. R-pM needs to break through the barriers of conventional thinking by encouraging people to question the way things have always been done.
Business Change Forum provides a forum for open discussion of the unsolvable problems built in to conventional structures overlaid on the business and the reasons to change to be competitive in the 21st century.
Provide a forum for discussion of organization and management methods
Business change forum is operated to help experienced managers and business change professionals, who understand the difficulty in solving conventional business problems, and encourages members of the Forum to participate in an open discussion on the application of R-pM to solve the problems faced by every business enterprise today.
Articles are welcome regarding the need for fundamental change and employing R-pM concepts to produce a completely new way. Articles also are welcome from those who want to make a case that conventional methods are superior to R-pM.
